XR Pediatrics is one of six recipients of the 2023 Unity For Humanity Grant. Our project, "The Year of The Cicadas" is a virtual reality experience following a mother’s journey to find meaning after the loss of her son. We can't wait to share more about this very special and personal project with you!

The XR Pediatrics team traveled this month to GDC in San Francisco. Co-Directors Drs. Asher Marks and Kimberly Hieftje spoke about XR tech and kids at the Future Realities Summit on Tuesday, 3/21. After returning home, members of the GDC team went to Boston for this year's PAX East conference. Both of these events brought our team closer to the other talented members of the games industry.
Medicine in the Metaverse Conference

The first-ever Medicine in the Metaverse Conference was a great success! Organized by XR Pediatrics' Randy Rode, dozens of healthcare and XR specialists came together for insightful conversation and demos of the new innovations utilizing VR and AR technologies in the clinical space. We look forward to next year's event!
