Annie Ma is an MPH Research Assistant at XR Pediatrics, Yale School of Medicine, where she works on a mixed methods study evaluating a digital peer support mental health program for college students. She is pursuing an MPH at the Yale School of Public Health, concentrating in Chronic Disease Epidemiology, and holds a BA from New York University in Global Public Health, Sociology, and Data Science.
Her research interests sit at the intersection of mental health, digital health, and chronic disease with a focus on outcomes research and data-driven decision making that connects evidence to real-world impact. She is particularly passionate about adolescent and young adult mental health, and is driven to understand not just what the data shows, but the lived experiences of the individuals and patients behind it, using this holistic perspective to help design strategies that center both well-being and impact.
